Why I wouldn't make the choice that Luke Skywalker did

Me as the mania of fantasy and more from the Star Wars saga. Every time I was thinking about
what would happen if Luke Skywalker joins the sith power with his dad Darth Vador. Fans like me
and you would have this all the time in our mind. I would love to make a new story or bookmaking
with different choice-making like the book doesn’t present.
I want to talk about the book from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back. A story about like all the
sagas, going to destroy the death star, the sith power, and making peace in the galaxy. However,
the interesting point of this saga focuses on the character “Luke Skywalker” starting with his
unspecified family story and finding out his force, but in the end, he discovers by himself about
where his force comes from, and his lost father.
At that point, in the lightsaber duel between Luke and Darth Vador, Darth Vador tells him “I’m
your father” and calls him to become a sith, but Luke refuses all about what Darth Vador told him.
I could understand that his loyalty to the Jedi is too big and as well his belief in them. But, what if I
was there and changed the choice? I could become the most powerful sith with badass-looking
and cool abilities that they have like his dad Darth Vador/Anakin Skywalker. And even if Luke chose
to be a sith, he’ll get out of the beggar as well since he was adopted by a family.
Of course after in the book, he becomes a strong Jedi. Believe it or not, the power and the legacy
that a sith could have is bigger. And other Jedis wouldn't be able to overlook the sith and attack
them easily since Luke will be the powerful force controller in sith but, if he becomes a sith, their
story will be similar to his father’s “Anakin Skywalker”.
Therefore, according to all my theories what decisions would you make in this book? Would you
change Darth Vador’s choice or Luke’s choice? The choices are on your hands, the entire stroy
could change, or little bit, or stay how it is
