Why you should rethink reading The Lord of the Flies
Have you ever read “The
Lord of the Flies” if your answer is yes I have a question for you, you
actually enjoyed those 288 pages? If your answer is still yes… we have serious problems. (Not really lol)
From my perspective The
Lord of the Flies is a really good story, the fact that there are only children
in a random island w/o parents or an adult there is a really cool concept, also
the fact that they started doing their own “hierarchy” and social rules it's
really fun to read
It's also really cool the
fact that the author reflected so much evilness in the children given us a
little understanding of how cruel a human being can be for people not being on
their same side, yes. I'm mostly talking about piggy's death when the other
gang “accidentally ” throw this big a*s rock to him crushing him to death, also
when Simon got brutally killed because they thought he was the “monster” that
everyone was talking abt… oh my! sorry ig this is a spoiler alert ;-)
Maybe you are wondering,
why are you making a blog abt us considering reading this book if the only
things you say are good things and that it’s interesting? Well, the book is
great but when you start reading it more it gets incredibly boring.
When you start reading
this book you seem interested in the way it starts not giving us context of
what is really happening, giving us this sensation of being worried or at least
to know what's going on with the kids that are confused and scared. When you
start understanding and the kids are trying to survive is when you start
getting bored. The book started being so boring that I had to read it at least
6 times to really understand and focus.
