Why I Love Playing Quidditch

Today, Gryffindor defeated Ravenclaw in the Quidditch Match, it was incredible. Although some unusual weather was upon us during the game. Before we had won against Hufflepuff, but this time was even more of an important match, this game will take us to winning the Quidditch Cup.

This time, there were Dementors everywhere, later after the match, I was told that they weren’t Dementors, it was Draco Malfoy and his friends trying to distract me from winning the game, they had some coats on them trying to scare me, maybe it was out of jealousy, but I didn’t let them get me distracted, instead I used my Patronus, since I thought that they were actual Dementors, and ended up winning the game. Teachers told me I gave Draco quite a scare, that’s enough to make my day. Also, I had a brand-new broom, everyone was impressed with, they wanted to look at it, touch it and even use it. But of course, I couldn’t let them.

It was a good game apart from it all, although the Dementors weren’t the only thing that almost kept me from concentrating. Cho, the girl who I… fancy, was the only girl playing for Ravenclaw, let’s just say I might have wanted to be a gentleman and not hurt her or anything so I may have gotten distracted along the way, that was when Wood yelled at “HARRY THIS IS NO TIME TO BE A GENTLEMAN! KNOCK HER OFF HER BROOM IF YOU HAVE TO” But I didn’t, that might have been a downfall, though the snitch has escaped at that point.

See that’s what is fun about Quidditch, even if you have to play against the people you like the most, you still get to have fun, the air flowing around, a whole crowd of students and teachers cheering you up. Also, girls love a winner of Quidditch, right after the game, Alicia, Angelina and Katie came up to me and kissed me all over. Also, see Malfoy fill with rage over my victory against Ravenclaw felt amazing and how I startled him and his annoying friends with “Expecto Patronum”.

So, would I recommend playing Quidditch, even though scary Dementors could attack you any time? Yes, I would, it is the rush and nerves that get you through the game. Also, obtaining the victory, is a feeling that is irreplaceable.
