Sun Tzu, the best general in China, explained to us the Art of War by talking about the techniquesand risks of this ancient practice, sharing with us the vital importance the art of war is to the state. He tells us that war is the prime thing in a functional state, “For a country to be successful, it has tobe strong in its military body, and to have a strong military we need intelligence, and a general toknow how to control his army in the battleground!”
He then shared with us the knowledge that a general should have, and how to make it work in thewar, “The art of war, then, is governed by five constant factors, to be taken into account in one’sdeliberations, when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field. These are: (1) TheMoral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth; (4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.”
